In this online event, artist, photographer, collector, and enthusiast Jerry Pevahouse will talk about local bottling and brewing businesses in New Jersey and the Hopewell region. The history of bottling includes the history of New Jersey immigration and the contributions of early German, Irish, Italian, Eastern European and Jewish immigrants. Jerry will also discuss the bottling business itself and its evolution over a hundred-year period from a low-tech to a high-tech industry.
